Therapeutic Oils can are a wonderful aide for stress reduction and relief.  In normal day to day situations many of us find ourselves afraid of change and almost are unable to start doing the things we should be doing.

My favorite therapeutic oil to assist in these situations is Chill Out For Stress Relief.  It helps you calm down just by there mere smell of it.  Chill Out For Stress Relief can be used in a variety of ways.  You can use it in your bath massage, or just put some drops on just like you would perfume.  I like to put Chill Out For Stress Relief on a tissue and just inhale the wonderful scent whenever I feel the need to calm down.

Rest for the Weary

Insomnia

For many years, my insomnia was more of an inconvenience than a real problem. I first developed the disorder in high school, and it stuck with me throughout college. During the worst patches I was falling asleep on two or three nights out of the week. Despite this lack of rest, I managed to remain productive and energetic well into my 20s. However, as so often happens, this lifestyle started to catch up with me around age 25.

My insomnia was as bad as ever, and the only difference was that I basically sleep-walked through my daily schedule. My performance at work began to suffer, and my close personal relationships were strained by my moodiness. I consulted a doctor and was told that different insomnia treatment options might be effective for different people. Luckily I stumbled on an aromatherapy oil that soothes me to sleep each night. The positive effects were apparent immediately as my business and social relations have improved immensely.

Massages are performed all over the world to help reduce stress and ease those tire sore muscles.  Massages are more productive when you use Massage Oils, for examples Lavender Massage Oil.

Through your sense of smell, when you smell an oil, molecules will float into your olfactory receptors which open directly into your brain.  This is why essential oils are used so much during massages.  Lavender Massage Oil is the most widely used essential oil because of it’s healing and skin-friendly properties.  A nice gentle massage with Lavender Massage Oil will definitely give you an overall healthy glow and make you feel so good.

Use Lemon Essential Oil To Get Rid Of Ants

thumbnail3In my home, I’ve always had a problem with those pesky little ants.  They come through the basement and are in my kitchen and living room.  This happens about twice a year.

I have three cats so I really try and avoid using chemical sprays as I am afraid the cats will walk on the chemicals and then lick it off of their paws.  Lemon Essential Oil is a natural insect repellent.  All I did was take hot water in a clean spray bottle and put in Lemon Essential Oil.  I used a 3% dilution so I put it 15 drops of Lemon Essential Oil per ounce of hot water.  I then sprayed in the floor boards.  It took a few days but the ants did disappear.

mosquitoBelieve it or not, there is a natural way to ward off those pesky mosquitos.  On the East Coast, it has been very wet so you can only imagine how bad the mosquitos are.  You know that most candles that are made use Citronella as the scent to ward off those mosquitos.  I found a way to use Citronella and Lemongrass Essential Oils to ward off those pesky mosquitos.

I tpyically make my own organic hand and body lotion at home.  What I did was added six drops of Citronella Essential Oil and six drops of Lemongrass Essential Oil  to one ounce of my organic hand and body lotion.  I rubbed in on to my extremeties (not my face) and it was like a mosquito forcefield.

The first time I used this blend was at a drive-in theatre.  I literally watched the mosquitos fly down and fly away.  This blend really works for me.
