The botanical name for Peppermint Essential Oil is Mentha piperita. It has a very strong, sharp menthol fragrance. Its scent is refreshing and invigorating! It is also very stimulating.
The other day I had been working on the computer for most of the day. My husband and I were having my father over for dinner. My husband said that I looked tired and I was tired. I decided to go into my essential oil stash and grabbed for my peppermint oil. I drew a bath, added some unscented bath salts and put in about four drops of peppermint oil. I soaked in the tub for about 20 minutes and boy was I invigorated! My skin felt alive and I was ready to take on dinner. Please note that the use of peppermint essential oil is not recommended for children, babies, or anyone using homeopathic remedies.

Unwind after a stressful day at the office. Light up several aromatherapy jar candles once you reach home. The fragrances will help infuse in you the sense of well-being and relaxation you need. Before or after dinner, simply put your feet up and dim the lights so you can rest a while before retiring for bed.
You may also want to run a hot bath and soak the day’s stresses and worries away. Lie back and give yourself half an hour at least to simply listen to soft music. Inhale and enjoy the wonderful aromas that the aromatherapy candles give out.
The botanical name for Jasmine Essential Oil is Jasminum Grandiflorum. It is brown in color with a sweet, floral scent. Jasmine Essential Oil has been known to aid in easing depression.
Jasmine Essential Oil has been known to lift your spirits creating a euphoric state of being. It can also help with dry skin. I personally have problems with dry, itchy skin, especially on my back. I recently made a blend for myself that I would like to share. I used one ounce of Jojoba Oil for my carrier oil and blended in just a few drops of Jasmine, Bergamot, and Lavender Essential Oils. The best part of creating this blend is I get to have my husband give me a wonderfully relaxing back massage. The scent is wonderful and with my husband massaging in the oils into my back, the moisture alleviates the itching immediately and I drift into a deep, restorative slumber.

You should always check the bottle before purchasing. If you want the benefits of pure essential oils, you should ensure that the oil you are purchasing contains no added coloring or perfumes.

If you do have access to a gym, swimming, elliptical machines, and even basketball provide a great workout in just a few minutes.

Insomnia is a common disorder that plagues millions of people around the world. Insomnia can be caused by a variety of factors including stress, pharmaceutical drugs, and chemical imbalances in the brain. Despite the seriousness of the condition, there are several natural cures for insomnia. It’s obvious that you should avoid drinking caffeine after dinner, but you should also avoid eating all together. Drinking water, milk, or drinks without excessive sugar is fine. It’s also a good idea to avoid your bed except when you’re sleeping; instead of watching television or reading in bed, do it somewhere else. Train your mind to know that when you are in bed you should be sleeping. It’s also a good idea to take steps to reduce stress caused by work, family, and other factors. This can be achieved through physical fitness, dieting, and standard relaxation.
There are also a number of herbal supplements that can help relax muscles and calm the mind before bed. Used in conjunction with the above practices, herbal supplements can help you get rid of insomnia all together.
