jasmineThe botanical name for Jasmine Essential Oil is Jasminum Grandiflorum.  It is brown in color with a sweet, floral scent.   Jasmine Essential Oil has been known to aid in easing depression.

Jasmine Essential Oil has been known to lift your spirits creating a euphoric state of being.  It can also help with dry skin.  I personally have problems with dry, itchy skin, especially on my back.  I recently made a blend for myself that I would like to share.  I used one ounce of Jojoba Oil for my carrier oil and blended in just a few drops of Jasmine, Bergamot, and Lavender Essential Oils.  The best part of creating this blend is I get to have my husband give me a wonderfully relaxing back massage.  The scent is wonderful and with my husband massaging in the oils into my back, the moisture alleviates the itching immediately and I drift into a deep, restorative slumber.
